Udisha, NGO is a voluntary, non-political, not for profit and social organization registered under Societies Registration Act by Govt. of Delhi, India. It is a conglomeration of professionals, civil servants, child psychologists/ counselors, educationists, social activists and environmentalists. We are involved in multifarious activities like sustainable development, environment, adult literacy, child rights, prevention of child abuse, crime against women, youth employment, training and development and good governance.
We have always intended to further our goal of community transformation, and to bring its strength of community engagement and training to disadvantaged sections of the society, particularly unemployed youth.
Udisha has been organizing projects and programs in different states like Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh for the last four years, in collaboration with Ganga Sewa Sanstha’s school- Moti Ram Aako Devi Vidya Mandir and other centres, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti, Gyan Bharti Shiksha Samiti and Rotary International etc.
Thousands of students, teachers, parents have been a part of this movement. Udisha has also aroused awareness amongst thousands of children and their parents through various campaigns and programs like, poster painting competition, walk, debates etc.
Udisha is in special consultative with Economic & Social Council of the United Nations since 2007. We are Laureate of 2011 International WWSF Prize - for Innovative Prevention of Abuse and Violence against Children and Youth.
